As the the room silences and feet fall flat on the ground
That is when the pianist lays their fingers on the keys to present a numbing sound
Echoing through the room and pulling people into deep waters
Waters slowing swaying back and forth, splashing out of musical borders
The silence almost making the sounds sharper
Tipping the bowl, the sweet yet piercing notes, layers shadows down even darker
Creating a spotlight, straying from the audience
Pointed at the composer, the mere music being made, being justice
Yet through this immense thick stop in time, the beauty of it is swiftly taken away
As you realise the notes were rehearsed day afte
